Children's/YA Fiction Rated

On this page I am listing children's and YA books read in the last few years (or originally read a long time ago and re-read in recent years), together with my Star Rating.

5-star books are "Must Read", those with 4 stars are highly recommended and 3 stars are well worth a look.

If I've given a book only 2 stars, consider if you are stuck somewhere without other reading material.

1 star means don't bother - do something else instead.

Zero-star books exist somewhere on earth, but none are included in my list below.

You will notice that relatively few books are rated 2 or 1 star.  This reflects the fact that I don't tend to finish a finish a book if I am not enjoying it.

All purely my subjective opinion of course.  Others may strongly disagree but that is the nature of things.
